Canberra Primary School was established in January 2000. It takes the name of the old Canberra School which closed down in 1988. It caters to the educational needs of pupils in the new Sembawang Estate. The school uses techniques such as Authentic Learning, Inquiry-based learning, Socratic Questioning and Guided Research. Three programmes - Discoverer, Global Learner and Attuned Learner, termed the Canberra Experience, are being phased in.
