Set up in 1995, Ahmad Ibrahim Primary School (AIPS) is named after a Sembawang Member of Parliament, who also served as Minister of Health and Minister of Labour in Singapore's early years. In 2003, after the completion of MOE's Programme for Rebuilding and IMproving Existing Schools (PRIME), AIPS became a single-session school. Some of the school's initiatives include Go Read A Book (GRAB) / Pick Me! where students use puppets to tell stories, Digital Library for students to improve their writing skills by creating E-books.
