Review Detail
Great location, but expensive food
Overall Score
2.5
The Food for Thought at the Singapore Botanic Gardens is huge for a cafe, taking the place of what used to be an entire food court. The whole restaurant is very spacious, with ample natural lighting through full length windows stretching the length of the restaurant. The high ceilings help absorb noise so when coming in a large group you won’t have to worry about disturbing other patrons.
In general, just be prepared to pay a premium for the location and environment, but there are a few budget friendly menu options. The Basic Works on their breakfast menu is great value for only $9, but for the House works you pay $6 extra for just hashbrowns and cherry tomato salad. The local delights come at $6 which is reasonable for such a restaurant.
