Nasi Lemak Kukus

Nestled in the jungles of Upper Thomson Road is a short strip of eateries. In this strip is Nasi Lemak Kukus, an open kitchen concept, industrial style type of restaurant where you are encouraged to scribble on their walls, and mingle with the staff as if you've known them forever. 

They are best known for, of course, their Nasi Lemak Kukus where the rice is cooked by being steamed, instead of being bolied. This rice is free-flow, along with the sambal which comes in two types, spicy and sweet. Their chicken wings are steamed before being fried, and they also serve Vietnamese Drip Coffee. They also offer a healthier version of what we know as Ramly Burger, calling it the Power Burger cooked upon order at a small station at the front of the store.

Nasi Lemak Kukus is open until late, usually catering to those who want to have supper and are craving for local dishes with a difference.
