Innovative Singaporean Zhi Char

Keng Eng Kee is one of the most unique zhi char places I know. Their Mingzhu roll is a handmade dish where salted egg yolk and other ingredients are wrapped in beancurd and deep fried. This is such a delicacy it's more like Dim Sum than a zhi char dish. And if they put this much effort into this one dish, expect great things from their other dishes as well.

Their food also come faster than many other zhi char places, and this is amazing when you consider their massive zhi char restaurant spans two coffee shops. Their service is great too. When we were overwhelmed by their menu the staff did not rush us, and patiently recommended dishes to order. They will also advice on sizes to make sure you don't over-order.
