I have tried Nandos before in Australia and loved it there. So when Nandos came to Singapore I was quite excited.

First the sauces... the sauces are still the same so no complains there.

When the food arrived, it looked exactly the same as the food served backed in Australia. But when me and my friends dug in, we found to our horror that the chicken tasted bland. The meat was so dry we had to drink lots of water to soften it. The skin looked nice, but was dry and bland as well. It seemed like Nandos here had been extremely stingy with the spices.

Their chicken tasted nothing like the ones served in Australia. It seems that the Nandos here have lost the flavors that it is so famous for back in Australia.

I recommend never going to Nandos. Their chicken is not good at all. If you really want to try Nandos, you might as well head to Australia to try it. It taste so much better then the ones here in Singapore.

I walked into Nando's with a certain level of expectation as it seemed like a rather promising restaurant. Unfortunately, it was not being met.

I ordered the Angry Mango Burger, which is basically a grilled chicken burger with diced mango. The chicken was fine, but I felt that the flavour of the mango overwhelmed the taste of the chicken. There was also too much mango topping, to a point where it constantly kept spilling out with every bite. The bun became soft due to the mango sauce and that is the one thing you never want to find in your burger - soggy bread.

The meal came with sides - I chose the coleslaw and fries. The fries tasted good, it was thick yet crispy at the same time. The coleslaw, however, was a bit too dry for my liking and was cut into pretty huge chunks. Given the option, I would have probably changed my coleslaw for the potato salad. I had a bite of my friend's and it tasted pretty decent.

The ambience of the restaurant was alright. It was pretty cramped during dinner hours but they somehow managed to make the place comfortable. The staff were also friendly and allowed us to change seats as it was too cold. Despite this, I would not recommend this place to anyone as I do not feel that the quality of the food justified the prices.
