I’m a recent fan of Yogurt and Yami Yogurt always makes me keep coming back for me.

Firstly you choose your flavor of yougurt which are usually 4. I usually go for the peach flavour. Next you choose your size of cup, regular, medium or large. There is take-home option also available. And then you can choose your toppings which are usually a handful of choices to choose from. They range from nuts to fruits. I usually like peach topping on top of my peach yogurt.

The yougurt at Yami Yogurt is nice and tastes very good. It almost as if you’re indulging in ice-cream except it’s yogurt so it’s very healthy. Don’t have to be worry about calorie intake.

Regulars to Yami Yogurt would know that they have a loyalty card which enables you 1 stamp for every $3 spent on a single receipt. Usually the smallest cup with a topping would enable you to get a stamp. If you accumulate 12 stamps before their expiry date which is usually 6 months, you get a free 13th medium sized cup courtesy of Yami Yogurt. Has that tempted you enough? I’ve 4 stamps away from my free cup. How about you?

I believe Yami Yogurt is a go-getter and definitely a promising one when it comes to its nutritious benefits. Being a Yami Yogurt virgin, I had mine a couple of days back as a substitute for my cravings for an ice cream, and I chose the smallest portion which is the regular cup of ‘natural’ flavour and had fresh blueberries as my toppings. It has this certain je ne sais quoi in every spoonful of the yogurt that simply bursts with freshness – light and nutty. If you are trying to lose that extra weight or just basically making healthier choices in satisfying your sweet tooth, I believe going for Yami Yogurt would be best. My advice to you is that choose the 'natural' flavour instead of the other options of flavours because it does not contain much artificial flavouring or sugar as the rest. Also, consider toppings such as Walnut, Almond, Granola, Golden Raisins, Mixed Nuts and Sunflower/Pumpkin Seeds or even fresh fruits instead of the sweet stuff for a healthier cup of 'Yami' goodness. Overall, the fact that it is low in fat and highly nutritious, it is definitely a good way to splurge and indulge, making this on the top list of my ‘Guilty-Free-Pleasures’.

The yogurt here is great. Unlike normal yogurt, the ones sold here have a sort of nice ice-cream like taste to them. Combine that with the large variety of toppings to choose from, and you have a tasty snack to help blur the time between lunch and dinner. The other plus side is that it's yogurt meaning it's healthy so I can eat as much of it as I like without feeling guilty.

Now for the downsides.... The pricing. It is rather ridiculous. For such a small cup, I pay as much as up to $3. Add in the toppings and the price raises by about 80 cents to $1.50. At this rate, it is much cheaper to just buy the toppings individually from NTUC and sprinkle it on the yogurt yourself. I love coming here, but the prices really put me off.

I was once a huge fan of Yami Yoghurt, partly for their yummy flavours as well as their generous topping. That left me coming back for more, until I have tasted better yoghurts than Yami Yoghurt.

There is this thing that leaves my friend and I intrigued- the menu is ever-changing and different flavours are up for selection daily. The problem is that we have no idea what are the 'next-day's flavours' and we are going to go from branch to branch for that particular flavour, which I think it isn't a very good idea for the consumers. Also, the flavours up for selection was really minimal, but the toppings are in a much wider range. This led me thinking: Are we coming for the yoghurt or the toppings?

The fact that they are frozen yoghurt tells me that it was most probably mixed with lots of ice in order to achieve that level of 'frozen'. However, the price range was rather reasonable, but with that price, there are other better yoghurt stalls in Singapore. Definitely not my cup of tea anymore!

When I had my first taste on the yoghurt, I was thinking "who doesn't love Yami yogurt?". There a lot of flavours for you to choose from, you can mix 2 flavours in one medium cup and there are a lot of toppings that can enhance the greatness of this yoghurt.

Basically Yami yoghurt offers 3 different cup size, starting from regular ( the smallest) , medium and jumbo pack ( it's really huge). If you don't want to eat from the cup, you can opt for the cone one instead at a cheaper price. If it is too inconvenient fr you to eat while walking around the shopping mall, you can opt for take away pack. How flexible can it get? And for Yami yoghurt lovers, like me, you can have your loyalty card in which you are given a stamp for every medium or jumbo cup purchased. When you have collected the complete stamp on the card, you can redeem it for one free medium cup of yoghurt.

Today, you can find Yami yoghurt outlets almost everywhere. They would select different flavours to sell every day and now, I have noticed that they come up with more and more flavours to select from.

My favorite one is the peach yoghurt and I always mix it with natural flavour. So it's like 2-in-1 yoghurt, with wheat germ as the additional topping. So give the ice creams or chocolates a break, opt for healthier and tastier yoghurt from Yami yoghurt.

Yami is probably one of the best froyo out there. It has the light and refreshing taste of frozen yoghurt and retains the creaminess of ice cream which makes this such a hit. Best thing is, it is about as healthy as it tastes. Guilt-free ice cold treats, what could be better!

The smoothness of this froyo is it's winning factor, one that is hard to find in other froyo (It does not have the small icy bits like the rest). I recommend trying the peach flavour which is a classic favourite amongst all. If you're feeling adventurous, you can always give the guava or soursop flavours a go. I usually add peach slices or cranberries as toppings as they go really well. For peach lovers, they have what they call Peachie which is essentially peach flavoured froyo with canned peach slices added. This costs around $2.20 and is one of my favourite things to order.

Unlike other chains of froyo, Yami Yoghurt does not have boutiques where customers can sit and eat so we usually walk around while eating. Yami may be a little more pricey as compared to the rest due to a smaller portion (this varies) but this froyo is worth every penny.

Yami Yoghurt is the first of many yoghurt chains that i eaten before. Although the price seems a bit more expensive, especially after adding the toppings. I must say that yami yoghurt has a much filling texture and feel as compared to other brands. The yoghurt feels thicker and heavier. It is not watery and does not integrate into watery stuff in an instant.

Their natural flavour was the one that started it off, i usually do not eat yoghurt as yoghurt tend to have a certain taste to it. But when i tried out yami, i was pleased that it had no such taste. Furthermore, yami also introduce new flavours every now and then. This adds variety to the product line and brings on little surprises every time.

For the toppings, they have a lot of different toppings, ranging from regular nuts to premium nuts and fresh fruits. i usually go for premium nuts, as there are choices such as walnut, pumpkin seeds, mixed nuts and i find that such toppings go well with the yoghurt. The crunchy nuts are coated with the cold freezing yoghurt. one bite and all the crunch and coldness gets all together.

i guess the only thing is that after adding the toppings, the overall price can be rather expensive, especially if the toppings belong to the premium range as it is almost equivalent to eating a meal. If the price is cheaper, i would go for more rounds, but its not that cheap, so i limit myself on the spending.

The only yogurt store I'd visit repeatedly. I first got introduced to Yami when I was just strolling about with some friends at Orchard. One of them then wanted to get a tub, I repeat, a TUB. She says that's how good she thinks it is and how she likes it so much!

Then, I was rather taken aback because in the past, I can't really differentiate between all the yogurt stores, they simply taste the same but all my friends were going on about which tastes milkier, which is more pricey, which one has more of that ice-cream texture.

My first taste of Yami, had me going "Whoopwhoop!". It was really good, much better than my previous tries at other frozen yogurt stalls. It isn't really of the ice-cream consistency, but I love the milky taste it brings. Price-wise, not one bit over-the-roof!

Their Peach flavor rocks my socks!

Yami Yogurt has been around for ages and is a part of my childhood memories. It was probably the first popular yogurt chain in Singapore.

In the recent years, many other yogurt chains have sprouted up and I have to admit that these new chains' yogurts are smoother and sweeter. However, I have compared Yami Yogurt's prices with a popular yogurt chain's store and Yami Yogurt is still more affordable.

If a simple, slightly granular, good ol' fashioned yogurt treat is your thing, head on down to Yami Yogurt. Its yogurt is less sweet compared to those from the new yogurt stores and I believe Yami Yogurt has been around for good reason.

For me, their Peach Delight is a healthy and delicious treat as well as a walk down memory lane.

Yummy!

Yami yogurt is really yummy. The yogurt is really cold and solid. It is handmade and taste really different from those that you can buy from supermarkets. There are a lot of flavours to choose from too. The price is quite expensive, a small cup would cost about $3.

However I find the ingredients is really fresh and sweet, freshness is guaranteed. Yogurt also aids in the digestion thus it is good to buy better quality one. Not only does it satisf your sense of taste, it is also good for your intestines. As for the toppings, you have a wide selection of nuts, fruits, cereals to choose from. Because there are only a few tables allocated for the shop, you normally need to carry the yogurt around and there will be no place to sit down.
