For a place that calls itself a chocolate bar, the weight of its worth must lie in its chocolate drinks and that’s exactly what I had both times I was here. A simple hot dark chocolate served in a rather cute mango shaped cup – affectionately known as the Hug Mug. There is no doubt that the chocolate served here is a pure indulgence, each sip is rich, thick and intensely cocoa flavoured – imagine melting a bar of dark chocolate and drinking that right up – it’s simply heavenly. Strangely, the drink doesn’t leave your throat dry and parched as you might expect after downing a cup of pure chocolate. It is rather pricey at $5.50 a cup but worth it for a taste of pure chocolate heaven.
