Whenever I feel like something sweet, twelve cupcakes if always there to satisfy my cravings. With 15 outlets all over Singapore and reasonably priced cupcakes, there's a flavour for everyone at twelve cupcakes.

My personal favourites are their red velvet and their chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting. The cakes are light but not overly dry (even though I would prefer them to be more moist). I also really like the cream cheese frosting that isn't too sweet. I personally really hate it when red velvet cupcakes are topped with sugary fondant instead of actual cream cheese frosting.

Lovely cups of goodness

Ever since Twelve Cupcakes opened an outlet at IMM, as a west sider, I've been frequenting the outlet to satisfy my sweet tooth once in a while.

The tiny cakes are wrapped prettily in the cupcake paper cups, each bursting with flavour. They are moist, fresh, and fluffy, which taste so good! Twelve Cupcakes' Daily Specials always tempts me to check for new flavours. I especially love the red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting.

As the cupcake bakery opened its first outlet in Taiwan, it seems like it has gain high recognition for it's delicious cupcakes. This can be seen as Kimberley Chen, a Chinese Australian singer based in Taiwan, often posts pictures of cupcakes from Twelve Cupcakes on her Instagram.

Indeed, Twelve Cupcakes is the place to visit for a lovely cup of goodness.

After hearing all the hype about Twelve Cupcakes, I decided to give them a try. At first look, the cupcakes were too cute to be eaten, with swirls of cream topped with shaved chocolate or chocolate heart shapes. I bought the pack of 12 mini cupcakes to sample all the different flavours. They were rich with ingredients and were moist. Ultimately one of the best cupcakes I've tasted.

The only downside of these fabulous cupcakes was the price. It might be a little expensive at $3.20 for the regular sized ones. Though a little hard on the wallet, getting them once in awhile will definitely satisfy the sweet tooth in me.

Instagram-able delicious mini cakes

I was first attracted into the shop by the classy yet cute designs of the cupcakes. They looked simply irresistible, and since my first purchase I have been hooked. My favourite flavour is the peanut butter and jam, with the savoury topping atop a vanilla cupcake. Yum!

I must admit the price is not the most wallet-friendly, therefore I only splurge when I really need a sweet treat to brighten up the day.

What really gets on my nerves is that if you takeaway a single cupcake, it will be packed into this little container in a very unstable manner, resulting in the topping of the cupcake smearing everywhere by the time I reach home. This ruins the picture-perfect look of the cupcake and takes away some of the joy.

I really do enjoy the cupcakes from twelve cupcakes! My personal favorites are the red velvet and cookies and cream. When you bite into each cupcake, there is a adequate amount of cream cheese topping and cake you get in each bite which is delightful. The cupcake is very moist and delicious by itself. It is quite expensive and I think it would be better if it was slightly cheaper. The theme of white, black and pink of twelve cupcakes shops are very classic and chic. It is an apt ambiance for the delicious cupcakes they serve. I am really enticed each time I walk past a branch! I would love to go back more often however the prices are too steep for my liking currently.

Visited their store at United Square, good ambience, friendly sales assistant and good cupcakes. Tried their red velvet cupcake, the sponge of the cake is nice however the cream cheese that goes on top of the sponge is slightly too sweet for me.

What i like and would recommend to my friend is that their cupcakes varieties on the shelves aren't stagnant. Example if you come by on Monday, they have Earlgrey & Lychee, on Tuesday, they have Peppermint Chocolate. It would be a good choice for those who likes cupcakes but doesn't want to taste the same old flavour of the cupcakes. Do check out their website as they have which flavour selling on which day.

You know the saying, "Money can't buy happiness but it can buy cupcakes and they are sort of the same thing"? Yes it's true! I love cupcakes. They are little bundles of joy and surprise in a cupcake holder.

Priced at 3 dollars per cupcake, it is slightly expensive but they have many kinds of flavours and it brightens up your day just by looking at it so why not? This is a definite must-go place if you are feeling down. My personal favourite is their peanut butter-chocolate cupcake and the red velvet. The red velvet cupcake is moist while the chocolate peanut butter cupcake is a perfect combination of flavours.

The only downside is that there isn't anything too special about the cupcakes other than the interesting flavours and the moistness.

I remember my friend telling me about eating Twelve Cupcakes, and I looked at him in bewilderment and said, 'You ate 12 cupcakes?!' He brought me to the store and then I realised. It was the stall name. Not that he really ate twelve cupcakes.

I really love cupcakes from here, cupcakes are not that easily accessible (Starbucks' isn't really good). What is absolutely delightful will be their frosting. Of most cupcakes, the buttercream frosting is somewhat a turn-off, being too rich and buttery. Not the cupcakes here! The Salted Caramel, Vanilla, Chocolate and Peanut Butter Chocolate Cupcakes all have superb frosting. The cream cheese frosting also balances the chocolate base of the Red Velvet perfectly. The whole array of cupcakes keeps me coming back for more. What I don't really like is the cake base - it can be a little dry. And also how the cupcakes can run out before 8pm on certain days (seriously).

Buy the cupcakes in bulk and share with your family and friends, it's cheaper that way. Be sure to check out the new flavours every month too! Oh and there's now a new outlet at Bugis Junction, all the more reason to visit.

There is no doubt that 12 cupcakes is one of the most well-known and popular cupcake specialty stores in Singapore. Besides the 'star' advantage that it has, its fast-rising success is also due to its delicious and beautifully-made cupcakes. Who wouldn't know recognize their signature red velvet cupcake -- a little red heart fondant atop of white whipped cream?

For my friend's 21st, I decided to order a dozen customized cupcakes from them. I have seen how their customized cupcakes look like on their Facebook page and they definitely appeared cute and enticing. However, when I actually received the cupcakes, the fondants were incomplete and we were told to put them on ourselves. I was quite upset with their service. The good thing was that they seemed apologetic and offered a refund. So, the next time you intend to order customized cupcakes from them, do ensure that your stated requirements have gotten across to their staff clearly to avoid all the trouble!

Nonetheless, the cupcakes did not disappoint. I have always liked their red velvet and peanut butter cupcakes. In fact, their red velvet is one of the better and more decent ones that I have tried. I particularly like the decoration. Definitely adds to the overall 'flavour' of the cupcake. A box of a dozen cupcakes also look presentable enough for a gift. All in all, although 12 cupcakes may be overrated, it is a rather affordable place in Sg where you can have decent cupcakes to satisfy your sweet-tooth cravings.

Right amount of sweetness at the right size

Twelve cupcakes is definitely the most publicized cupcake bakery in Singapore. I need not say more. Having 2 celebrity couple as the owners, it is bound to enjoy a whole lot of free publicity. Twelve cupcakes are expanding very quickly. If I am not wrong, in a span of 1year, they quickly expanded to 4 outlets!

The first time I tried Twelve cupcakes was at their newest outlet (Bugis Junction). I like how their signboard looks. Simple yet classy. If you visit their outlet, you would see very scrumptious looking cupcakes placed in their transparent glass counter. Cupcakes are priced at $3 each or $3.50 for the special of the day. Honestly speaking, the serving size is pretty small when I first saw it. However, once I eat it, I feel that the sizes of the cupcakes are just right and I am left satisfied without feeling stuffed. I ordered the chocolate chocolate flavour and I love how their cakes are light, fluffy and super moist, with just the right amount of sweetness!
