I had lunch at breeks at habourfront centre because i was tired of the usual fast food from MacDonalds or burger king. The pricing was way much steeper than the regular fast food although they do sell pastas. I tried their burger which was a pretty big portion. The food was average, just like any other fast food but I feel it is healthier as the burger had more veggies inside a normal zinger burger at macs.
It was really quiet and i do know how they survive because the restaurant is always pretty empty when i pass by it. The huge posters of Caucasians smiling and chilling was what attracted me to Breeks because i thought that the food would taste more American and i would feel relaxed eating there. It was indeed relaxing because it was quiet but the price did not make me feel relaxed. I wouldn't be going there anytime soon.
I went to the Marina Square outlet to celebrate my friend's birthday. The staff was nice in helping us light the candles and keep the cake refrigerated while we had dinner first. They also helped us take quite a few group photos kindly.
Food was not exactly great and prices were rather high between $20-$30. For that price, I would expect better quality and better tasting food. The burger was nice though. I would suggest anyone to only visit there if there was a 1 for 1 promotion or something similar.
