Not bad.
Overall Score
If you're there, you've got to order their black pig items, like their black pig katsu don. The typical katsu don is a chore to eat, dry and tough as if it were battered cardboard (well, this I find to be the case for many Japanese eateries in Singapore). But the black pig katsu don at Tampopo is moist and succulent and very satiating. I'd also recommend their sushi, especially their salmon sushi. I couldn't recall the name but the salmon was the half-cooked sort, the result of which is an extremely creamy, buttery texture. It was absolutely delicious and very smooth on the palate.

On the whole, everything's rather pricey but I'd say it's worth the occasional indulgence.
