It used to be our favourite hangout place but not anymore.

The service has gone crappy and so has the food. The last time we were there (the outlet at Central), our food took forever to come and it was so hard to get the attention of the waiting staff that we nearly wanted to walk out. We ordered some unagi pasta, and some pizza with salmon toppings. When our food finally came, we were disappointed that the pasta was not as flavourful as we recalled it to be. What we loved about their pasta way back then was the satisfying portion, and the combination of garlicky flavour and (what we believed was) fish sauce. But this time round, not only did the flavour not match up to expectation, but portions have shrunk as well.

The pizza we had was served cold so that every mouthful I had gave me the feeling that I was chewing on someone's belt. And yet all their pizzas are of the thin-crust variety, so they were supposed to be crisp. That was what we used to love about their pizzas.

We haven't visited Waraku for quite some time now, and we go to Yomenya Goemon to satisfy our cravings for Japanese-themed pastas.
