It's about time we chuck away movies as a staple group activity during outings! Stepping into the entrance of Laser Ops at Dhoby Ghaut MRT made me feel as though I've practically entered a video game, and once the game marshall took us into the briefing room - that's it. I was on game mode. I couldn't help it!

When we geared up with our guns, The actual game venue inside was completely dark. Compared to outdoor laser tag, this is a hundred times cooler with the effects and everything. You can barely see faces clearly inside, but the colour of your gun and gear indicates your team colour.

Although it's pitch dark inside, there's a lot of space in the game area, which is filled with walls and corners to hide to make the game more exciting. The entire place was filled with laughter and yelling when my friends and I played, it was just so much fun. Also, it's air-conditioned so you won't have to worry about sweating too much. My favourite mission has got to be the free-for-all one, where everyone's their own team and the mission's based on a point system.

At the end of the game, there will be a ranking of all the players and the scores outside the game area, so you won't want to see your name appear last on the screen! It costs $15 for one mission per pax, and $30 for three. Really fun, and it makes for a really memorable and exciting experience.
