I was lucky to have visited the Sentosa Luge when it wasn't so crowded. I had to wait for only a short while before I could start getting my helmets and getting on to the ski lift! The helmets are quite smelly to be honest and disgusting, so if you are a cleanliness freak, please do bring your own helmet.

The ski lift ride up was really really fun! It was cooling and it's a good view of Sentosa from up there. There are also cameras positioned along the way so do smile at them and you can purchase a copy from the main reception area later on after your luge ride. I bought one and it's currently pasted on my wardrobe. Good quality picture with a nice view in the background, quite worth it especially if you're with a bunch of good friends!

The luge ride is exhilarating. You get to control your own luge and steer it and go at whatever speed you want. Try to be a bit of a daredevil when it comes to the luge, because going slow won't be very much fun. Try to outrace your peers and be the first to get to the finish line :D There are straight stretches and good turns that allow for variety. Although it is good fun, I thought that it was too short a ride down and the route should have been slightly longer.

Overall, a worthwhile experience that I will return to again every once in a while.

This is always a highlight of my trips to Siloso beach, Sentosa! I enjoy the skyride up but I absoulutely LOVE the luge down! And crazy enough, I particularly enjoy the part where we have to jump off the skyride because it never stops, when it reaches the top. I believe they use the same system to bring customers up a snow hill at ski resorts.

The ride down is full of adrenaline rush! I myself love driving, go-karting and the works so this pretty much satisfies me. However, may be pricey as once again, this is a tourist attraction situated in the heart of touristy Singapore, Sentosa!

This is fun. Absolute fun. It takes only a minute or two, but you can come back for more. Want to feel like a child in a go-kart again? Finding things that amuse that you can do yourself are rare these days. The mega zip, the luge and the skegways are, in my view at least, the most fun you can have on Sentosa.

Even if they do cost too much.

I have been on the Luge ride for quite a few times and I enjoyed myself pretty much! If you're above the age of 10 (or want a longer and more exciting ride) I suggest that you take the dragon trail. I'm not exactly an adrenaline junkie, and the dragon trail provided the right amount of thrill and fun! In my opinon it was quite a short ride though. Oh, and before the luge ride was the skyride up - it's like a ski lift and I suggest that you take the ride up in the evenings when it's not too hot and you can appreciate the gorgeous sea view and sunset !

Like the previous reviewer, I was also slightly apprehensive about taking this ride. I'm not too fond of overly thrilling activities nor do I like heights! But once I got over my worries, I was hooked on this ride.

I recommend that you take both the sky ride and the luge ride. The sky ride takes you on a tour in the sky and you can have a bird's eye view of Sentosa below your feet. Do take off slippers or shoes that are not tightly fit as they might fall off when you're suspended in the air. If you unfortunately drop something, there is a canopy below and your belongings can still be retrieved. It took a bit of getting used to when taking the sky ride. The sky rides do not stop and wait while passengers slowly get on. You've got to anticipate its arrival and hop on at the right time as it comes towards you. There are staff to help you with getting on.

Then comes then luge ride. It's something like go-karting and its easy to handle and operate. It's tons of fun if you go with your friends and everyone tries to outrun one another! You can also control the speed of the luge so you can slow down and speed up anytime you wish. My only gripe about the luge ride is that it doesn't last long enough!

Try these rides at least once! And if possible go on weekdays when the queue isn't insanely long!

The bundling of the skyride and the luge ride is certainly a good idea offered in Sentosa at the Siloso Beach. Visitors can experience two different kinds of rides by taking the skyride up and riding on the luge down.

While on the skyride, one can view the scenery of Sentosa and experience the feeling when your legs are dangling in the air and enjoy the occasional gentle breeze that comes along. It is a worthwhile experience and it is not scary at all because the skyride is travelling at a relatively slow speed. So those people that are afraid of roller coasters would not have to fear taking this ride.

As for the luge ride, it is something like driving a go kart, but it is better in a sense that it is non-polluting and it is easier to control and easy to operate. There are 2 trails for people to explore and it is really fun riding on the luge. But one thing negative is that the route is quite short and the fun only exists for a short period of time.

The pricing for the luge is still considered as average at about $18 per pax for 2 skyrides and 2 luge rides, which is kind of worthwhile for first-timers.

I hardly visit Sentosa and the only time I do would be when I am bringing my foreign relatives around or if I am going for a social gathering. The last two times when I went on the luge, I was bringing my foreign relatives around and they wanted to try that out. Trying out the luge has never crossed my mind as I always walk directly to the beach to mind my own business. But of course, when you become a host, you have to bring your guests everywhere.

I took charge of purchasing the tickets and I really forgot how much it costs. Nothing in Sentosa is cheap so be warned, the luge tickets will not be cheap as well.

I went on the ride as well and it was so fun!! There are sharp turns, wavy curves and a handful of unexpected twist and turns throughout the luge route. The little kids were also having a whale of a time screaming their lungs out. Kids are allowed to sit at the front while a parent sits behind him/her. Too dangerous for a little kid to go solo I guess. Well, it is THAT thrilling. If a kid isn't allowed alone on board, it definitely means that it is thrilling enough for an adult. Adults go alone of course. :) I just wished the ride was a little longer.

I love to go Sentosa with my friends, enjoying a bright sunny day on the beach and playing volleyball with my friends. A great hangout place for sun lovers! The scenery and architectures are so beautiful, it will definitely leave many wonderful pictures inside your photo album.

On a random chance, my friends and I decided to try Luge as non of us has played before. With Sentosa Islander membership, I have enjoyed Skyline Luge at an discount of $2. We have to wear our helmetd and take skyline to the top. Be aware that you might lose a slipper if you are careless, so keep your legs within the seat and enjoy the great scenery. When we've arrived our destination, the instructor taught us how to control the luge and emphasize on safety rides. Once we are ready, it is time to set off! We had so much excitement while enjoying the speed of the ride. Kind of disappointed when we know it is end of the fun. Overall, it is a good experienced to enjoy with family and friends.
