Sheikh Abdullah Ahmad (Dato' Shake)

He is the first notable Asian singer to sing in French. His first single is "Tu sais je t'aime" (You know I love you). France gave Shake the medal Chevalier des Art and Lettre "In the Honor of Art and Letter" for promoting the French language and Culture in Asia. Sheikh was conferred a Datukship in 1979.
