I visited Larkin earlier this year to get a bus to head to Penang. I was delighted to see so many coach companies and had no trouble in booking a trip to Penang. While waiting for my bus, I had a couple of hours to kill and went to have my dinner with my 2 mates.
There was a food court at Larkin, where you get to self-serve yourself with Malay food. After sering ourselves and ordering drinks, I was shocked when the total bill came to RM93!! That amounts to about $40SGD, which is definitely inflated!!
After coughing up the money, we walked around are we confirmed that the entire Larkin Bus Terminal is indeed overpriced and suffers from a serious bout of economic inflation!
