Gaya Street

A short walk away from the city center of Kota Kinabalu is Gaya Street, a stretch of road which resembles the Petaling Street in the Peninsular. Items sold range from over-sized umbrellas, cultural items such as batik and sarongs, fruits and flowers, arts and craft, footwear, antiques and souvenirs, food and even pets and herbs.
