Coffee festival in Intramuros

If having several cups of the caffeinated beverage in a day isn’t enough, coffee enthusiasts in Metro Manila can soon participate in an event that lets them get to know coffee on a different level on 29th April to 1st May from 4PM to 10PM.

The Manila Coffee Festival 2022 in Intramuros will give attendees access to Mindanaoan single-origin coffee merchants, and workshops and talks about coffee. Eventgoers will even get to taste the award-winning coffee beans – Mirabueno from Bukidnon and North Star Upi Coffee from Maguindanao.

The Manila Coffee Festival is held to celebrate the role of coffee in our cultural identity as Filipinos, it being a huge industry in the country. To the organizers, coffee tells a story – from how it is grown, harvested, and roasted, to all the people involved in creating a cup of coffee, to how we enjoy it.

The festival is also an avenue to introduce local coffee variants and get people to support local coffee shops, coffee businesses, and coffee growers.
