Infinity Resort and Spa

When it comes to traveling, one of the things that people like to do is swim in a pool, but unfortunately, not all pools are wide enough to fit many people without them feeling crowded.

In that case, if you’re looking for a pool that’s wide enough to fit both sides of your family, head out to Infinity Resort & Spa in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro, where a 400-square-meter pool has more than enough space for you and your companions.

Once inside, you’ll be welcomed at the lobby for booking confirmations. Interestingly, you’ll get a sense of the modern architecture of the resort, which is different from most resorts that you see in the province.

After that, you’ll be able to get a glimpse of their restaurant, The Brae Restaurant, as you’re being led outside if you chose to stay in the villas.

Apart from the typical suites, two-story villas are ideal for you to book if you’re in a group and want to be near almost everything such as the Estuary Pool Bar, The Brae Restaurant, the swimming pool and jacuzzi, and the beach.

From the Deluxe to the Malasimbo Family rooms, the rates range from P10,800-P22,900 (~USD206.47-USD437.78) and the BeachFront rooms’ rates range from P12,800-P41,000 (~USD244.99-USD784.75).

Regardless of your accommodation choice, you’ll be required to book a minimum of two nights’ stay during weekdays and weekends and a minimum of three nights’ stay during peak season. Additionally, the rates are dependent on when you book during weekdays, weekends, or peak season.

The pool is divided by a bridge so that you can easily reach the pool bar without having to walk around it. Furthermore, it also divides the pool that’s shallow enough for kids to enjoy from the one that’s suited for adults, which goes deeper.

If you’re lucky enough, you might catch the pool fountain running so that you can take aesthetic photos. This is also a plus for most kids who love playing with water, especially if it involves fountains or splashing.

Bear in mind that the water’s temperature may depend on the weather. During rainy season, it may be best to take a dip during the day instead of at night to prevent getting a cold.

Alternately, during the summer, you can take advantage of the pool any time as the water will only feel refreshing.
