As the pandemic is still going on, it will take a while before bookworms can enjoy again the thrill of hauling as many titles as possible from physical book fairs. In the meantime, given that these events are not yet possible, the Big Bad Wolf book fair, has thankfully let Filipino readers shop for books online in the comforts of our home and have them delivered straight to our doorsteps.
After holding its last physical fair in the Philippines in February 2020 before the lockdowns began, Big Bad Wolf is back in the country this year to hold an online book fair from 30th June to 7th July.
There will be over 60,000 titles to choose from

You can expect over 60,000 titles to choose from across all kinds of genres such as fiction, non-fiction, novels, children’s literature, and young adult fiction.

Aside from the variety of options, there will also be exciting vouchers, prizes, and discounts – fans of young adult fiction can purchase copies of favorites such as Paper Towns, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, to name a few, at just under half their original price. You can even buy a select 30 books such as Crazy Rich Asians for only P10 when each you spend a minimum of P1,800!
If you haven’t gotten a book haul in a while, you might want to do so during the fair as they will also provide free shipping for orders that reach a minimum amount of P2,900.

To shop, customers will be asked to create an account on the website of the Big Bad Wolf Online Book Sale Philippines 2021. Titles can be browsed by genre, searched by keyword(s), name of the book, author, and by their International Standard Book Number (ISBN).
Many online payment options such as Dragonpay, eGHL, GCash, GrabPay, BDO, and BPI will be available upon checking out, but Cash On Delivery (COD) will unfortunately not be available given that the books will come from Malaysia.
Delivery can take 18–24 days, and the shipping fee will be calculated based on the volume and weight of the purchase, as well as the delivery address.
