I came here with a bunch of friends over the weekends quite some time ago. It was one of those trips where a friend of mine wanted to see a waterfall in Malaysia. Templer Park, not to be confused with Templars from Assassin's Creed, makes for a decent place for some relaxation and experience nature.
At the time I went, there wasn't exactly a proper shelter. The shelter was...broken. I'm not sure how to describe it but lets just put it as unusable. The water wasn't exactly clean either. I remember hearing stories about how nice and fun this place is but I wonder if it's indeed the same Templer Park. I'm guessing the conditions here have deteriorated badly. Well, it wasn't too bad but I'm not planning on coming here again.
The 3 words in the title describe my experience at this park. Accessible because I only had to take a public bus from central Kuala Lumpur and it took em less than 25 minutes to reach there. I love places which are accessible by public transport. I went with a few friends and we wanted to have a picnic at the peak of the hill.
Upon arriving, we had to walk up a slope that was long but it wasn't too steep . Along the way we could partake in the beautiful natural flora and fauna that lie all around us. We were surprised to see there was a fresh water pool that was clear and cooling. It was a shame we didn't take our swimming wear so we sat at a stall nearby to eat. It was a nice and relaxing place but there was garbage that were falling out of bins which were already full of garbage. Naturally there were flies swarming around and that ruined the serenity and joy of the the experience.
