I have been to CF in Sunway Pyramid and it is one of the best gyms I have ever had a membership with, The facilities were great, you could have many alternative exercise machines for each and every part of your body.
Although this gym is great, I did not like the way they priced their memberships. They had a system where if you had a basic one, you are only allowed to use the gym on a few certain weekdays.I think this is ripping our money off because it is unfair to limit us from exercising for the sake of money.
I've been to Celebrity Fitness quite a few times in 1 Utama and Sunway Pyramid as my friend's guest. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I am lazy to go to the gym. It's just that I'm not into the idea of paying hundreds of ringgit every month just to work out. Anyways, I actually like going here. The staff are friendly as always and very helpful if you need to ask them something.
So far, all the gym equipment from the chest press, the abs machine to the treadmill are in good, clean and usable condition. The locker room is pretty much like Fitness First, a little bit cramped but kept in good condition. Never lost any of my belongings before while I was here in 1 Utama.
Few months back, I actually went for the 7 days trial with my friend. I usually just head to my usual gym but this time, a proper gym was a totally new experience to me!
I went for 5 out of the 7 days and I would say I was really excited to test out all the various machines available there! The locker/changing rooms are also well equipped and even had shower gels and shampoos provided!
I joined the Zumba and also Latin classes and it really was tiring! I could feel all my sweat dripping and my heart pumping to the really fast beats and moves but it was really really, enjoyable! The teachers there are really friendly and really good at what they do. In terms of value of money, it is alright. Average I would say. But if you make use of the classes and all the services, it IS value for money. So sweat yourself out!
One of the good gym centers in Malaysia. Put aside their increasing membership fee, you get to access everything inside the club and you can join their class as well. I do not like to be trained, so I usually will plan my own workout schedule. Most of the club is well-maintained but I was told there are things going missing which worry me a lot when I want to work out here. I like their 1 Utama club where the club is not too exposed to passer-by. The favorite spot will be the treadmill machine where I’m running at the middle of the bridge looking at LDP.
Celebrity Fitness had just received an award of best dance classes from So You Think You Can Dance. I really think they deserve it. I enjoy the dance classes there. This is also the place where I learn about Capoeira when I first joined the capoeira class a few years back. The well-maintained club is awesome with their facilities, cleanliness, and the friendliness of their staffs. I don't like the design of the club in SS2 Mall as I feel so exposed. Everyone look into the club. Perhaps, that's the purpose of it? Motivate more people to join the club. But I do not like to exercise while everyone looking at me. I prefer some privacy.
