I have only drunk Starbucks coffee twice, don’t laugh. I just don’t like to spend a lot on drinks or desserts. Starbucks is really expensive, about RM20 per drink so I only drink it once in a rainbow moon.
I really like the Java Frappucino, I highly recommend it. Being the cheapskate I am, of course I drank it when Starbucks was having 50% promotion.
If Starbucks sells a cup of coffee half the size of the regular ones at RM10, I would buy it more often. I don’t think it is going to happen though so I will just hope for more promotions.
If you have never heard of Starbucks before then chances are, you are of a different dimension. Starbucks is known to have plenty of branches in Malaysia, especially Selangor. In fact, Sunway Pyramid itself has two Starbucks outlets. Every single time I come here, I always order a Venti Dark Mocha Frappucino as I find it to be the only thing in Starbucks that is worth the money.
Why? Well for starters, every item being sold at Starbucks is priced at wallet-hole sizes. It is pretty expensive but If you can find a drink that is worth your time, you're going to be enjoying your time here. The baristas here are well-trained, friendly and ready to accept your order no matter how complicated it is. I myself tried teasing them by ordering my drink with less sugar, milk, cream, coffee and plenty more without any complaints or sighs.
Never buy anything from Starbucks just to follow a trend, always buy what you love because you love it. Otherwise, the hole in your wallet is going to lead you to an endless abyss of hating yourself.
I love Starbucks for many reasons. their place is cool and very laidback, the baristas are friendly and chatty, choices of drinks are adequate and their merchandise.
Starbucks always have this seasonal promotion to attract coffee lovers and alike. I always go for its Frappucino range because they're just heavenly. The cakes are to die for. And I love the cozy seating where friends can meet and chat comfortably over a cup of coffee.
The bear (I strongly think the mascot) of Starbucks are just too cute to resist. Whenever there are holidays seasons, the bear will be adorned in limited edition outfits, such as Halloween or Christmas. These collectible items never missed my cart.
I always love a getting myself a drink from Starbucks, but the drinks are so expensive they’ve become guilty pleasures indulge in only when I’m feeling a little rich.
One drink that never fails is their Green Tea Frapp, which tastes just like green tea flavored Kit Kats. When I am in a thirstier mood/ my throat feels a little dry however, I always get their Ice Shaken Zen Lemon Tea. You can choose from a few of their other teas, but the Zen tea has satisfied me so much I’ve never felt the need to change.
Not only are their drinks good, I also highly enjoy the music at Starbucks along with the ambience. It’s a lovely place to chill or do work and even with their high prices, I see why people keep going back.
I love Strawberry. Especially int the form of ice cream. I also love my coffee. That is why I found the match made in heaven when I found myself stuck at the KLIA one day. I was awaiting transit and had to be in the airport for a few more hours. I was thirsty and was really not in the mood to talk to anyone or be jolly. I found myself wandering into the Starbucks outlet and was ready to order a regular cup of coffee when I saw it.A cardboard cut out of Strawberry Frappuccino.
I had to have it.
I took my drink (after paying for it) and found myself a comfortable place to sit. The drink had foam which had strawberries on it and the drink itself had blended strawberries. Little bits of the fruit still inside. I took a sip and was instantly hooked. The drink literally made my day and I found myself humming to the repeating songs over the outlet's PA system. Loved the drink and love the serene environment I had to myself whilst I enjoyed my drink.
I am not a regular customer of Starbucks. To be honest, I do feel pain in my wallet every time I buy a drink at Starbucks. But it is nice to treat ourselves every once in awhile.
My personal favorite of all time is their signature Frappuccino blended beverages, particularly Java Chip in which you can taste the chocolate and coffee in a perfect mix. I like it because the coffee flavor is not too strong for a non-coffee fanatic like me.
As for their food, I can’t really comment on it since I have not tried the food served at Starbucks before except for muffins. The one I ordered was blueberry muffin and it was good. One of these muffins is definitely large enough to satisfy my appetite for awhile.
Starbucks is the first coffee house in Malaysia. Today, it is the one of the hotspot to seal a business deal. You will notice people serving internet, reading books, relaxing at tea break at Starbucks. Personally, I missed their Frappucino Rumbia. They stopped this drink without notice and since then no one asked for it and it just disappear from the menu. They grind their coffee beans everyday so that you get the fresh fragrance of coffee. You can even get a pack of Starbucks coffee and have the barista to grind it for you. Other than their coffee, they have cakes which taste average.
