2. SAMC Animals Centre


Those with a 9-to-5 job will know the struggles of rushing to get their furry pets to their nearest veterinarians after work, as most veterinarians and animal hospitals close by 6PM. 

But SAMC Animals Centre, an association of veterinary practices that’s been operating since 1999, has branches that open late into the night – specifically the ones in Kajang and Bangi, which are open till 10PM.

Both branches are accepting walk-ins during the RMCO, with social distancing measures and mandatory mask-wearing in place. But appointments are recommended, as you might have to wait in your car or outside their clinic if there are too many people in the waiting room.

Ohana Veterinary Clinic is run by Dr Wawa and her husband, who started off by rescuing and housing stray animals. While their veterinary clinic has garnered a steady stream of customers living in the area, they still rescue animals so you’ll see your share of them, mostly stray cats, that they’ve treated and put up for adoption at their clinic. 

Some of their services include:
