Skyline Enterprises – a New Zealand-based leisure and entertainment operator – is collaborating with local property developer Gamuda Land to open Malaysia’s first luge attraction: Skyline Luge Kuala Lumpur.

It’ll be located at Gamuda Gardens, a township in Rawang, Selangor.

For the uninitiated, Skyline Luge is a gravity-fueled leisure ride where riders operate a sled-like kart with handles down a hill. It’s suitable for all age groups, so even those without prior experience or kiddos can have lots of fun on their first ride.

The activity park in Malaysia will cover 30,000 square metres, featuring a 1.6km long track with several thrilling turns and a 40m elevated hill. During your ride, you’ll get to travel through the longest track tunnel in the world stretching 60m long.

A ski lift Skyride, said to be the country’s first, will also open inside the park, to take you to the top of the hill where you’ll begin your ride. The journey takes about 3 minutes, and promises scenic views of the surrounding greenery.
