Tucked amongst a row of old shophouses along Jalan Tun HS Lee in Kuala Lumpur, this vintage cafe is a mix of both old and new. Upon entering this two-storey space, you’ll find that it has been thoughtfully and beautifully revamped.
Though Kafe Kleptokrat retains an old-school charm with its tiled floors, chipped red bricked walls, and steely railings, the space is also reminiscent of Bali with the bountiful leafy plants, patio umbrellas, and the cafe’s highlight – a large swimming pool that stretches along the length of its courtyard.
This cafe’s pleasing interior is a plus for avid Instagrammers, as almost every corner of the cafe is fit for a selfie or wefie backdrop. So don your best ‘fit, and get ready for a Bali-inspired photoshoot.
