On 15th November, netizen Jully Yap went live to record the incident at around 2.30PM on her Facebook page. The video has since garnered over 5,000 reactions from netizens touched by the scene.

According to the caption and narration in the now-viral video, the incident took place in Kepong Baru. It was filmed to highlight the good deed of a foodpanda delivery rider, who accompanied an elderly man after his motorbike broke down on a busy road.

The lengthy video – which spanned four minutes and 50 seconds – showed a hunched old man pushing his motorbike down a road with great effort while vehicles passed him by.

His vehicle had apparently stopped functioning, causing him to descend from his bike and push it. Yap had offered him a ride so he wasn’t left stranded on the road, but he had turned down the kind offer. He told her that he wanted to walk as he did not want to leave his bike behind.

Stepping in to help was a delivery rider, who happened to be at the scene too.

He is seen guiding and supporting the old man and his stalled motorbike with a firm grip on the bike’s handlebar – all while staying balanced on his own vehicle too.

Together, the pair was filmed inching their way down the busy road for almost five minutes, towards a traffic light intersection. When the traffic light turned green, the delivery rider proceeded to help the uncle make an otherwise risky turn in short time and without assistance, and towards the safety of a less-busy road.
