Update: Ministry of Health has alleged that this is fake, but MyEG has since clarified to say they’re not fake – they’re just pending approval.

How it works
The home kit has already been approved by authorities in China and is actually in use by the masses there right now. Once your order has been shipped out, you’ll receive a test kit that looks similar to a pregnancy stick as it also has a small indicator screen at the top that displays a red line.

You can collect your blood sample by lightly pricking your finger with the apparatus given and applying it to the test strips. The test kit will then detect COVID-19 antibodies that are produced by the body within a timeframe of 3-7 days after infection.

After 15 minutes, you will be able to see your results from the lines that have appeared on the indicator. Similar to a pregnancy test, 2 obvious lines on the indicator means that traces of COVID-19 antibodies have been found in the blood sample given. If there is only one red line on the control area labelled “C”, then you’re clear.
However, you’ll have to repeat the test once more if a red line doesn’t appear in the control area as the test result is invalid.
P.S. the kit can only be used once, so if you wish to take another test, you’ll have to use a brand new kit.
