Enter Caribbean Juice Bar, a waterfront juice bar that just recently opened in Johor. Set in a repurposed shipping container, this spot offers a tropical menu of thirst-quenching beverages and mocktails – what’s more, everything served here is vegan, organic and sustainably sourced.

Stroll along Puteri Harbour, Johor, and you’ll come across a hippy-looking eatery in a container perched by the edge of the waterfront. This happens to be Caribbean Juice Bar, a new joint in town that swears by a sustainable and zero-waste lifestyle – hence, even their takeaway bowls and utensils are plastic-free.
The juice bar itself has been repurposed from an old shipping container, which has become part of its charm.

With an overhead straw canopy, nautical knick knacks, and chic wooden furnishings and floorboards, this juice bar is proof that even an old container can serve boho-chic vibes.

Smoothie bowls and mocktails to quench your thirst
As the owners of the juice bar stand behind cruelty-free and organic food, everything on the menu is vegan-friendly, with no added artificial ingredients or additives. They believe that such an approach will benefit the environment enormously, without compromising the deliciousness of their smoothies and more.

This cosy, bohemian sanctuary serves up an impressive roster of plant-based items.
For something light and rejuvenating, order a cold-pressed juice (RM12/glass) – the long list of fruit choices will help quench your thirst on a hot day.
A more filling option is their smoothies (RM12/glass). Their Green Goddess blend provides nutrients you need for the day, while the Morning Smoothie gives you an energy boost.
If none of the offered flavours tickle your fancy, feel free to create a cup of juice or smoothie with your own mix of fruits.

To fill your tummy after a sweaty walk outdoors, consider their smoothie bowls (RM15). These include All Fruits Ripe, Key Lime Pie and Green Calypso, all jam-packed with earthy ingredients such as coconut flakes and homemade granola.
Nice Cream Bowls (RM15) are sweeter options that come in two delightful flavours – Munchies with peanut butter, and Nutty Coco with gula melaka syrup.
Another highlight is their Loaded Papaya (RM15), which comprises half a papaya stuffed with homemade granola, coconut milk, flax and chia seeds, and goji berries – a papaya bowl full of good stuff.

While their speciality is their fresh concoctions, Caribbean Juice Bar also offers a selection of coffee and teas – black coffees are priced at RM9, while their oat milk options go for RM12.
If you’re looking to live out your beach bar vibes here, there are also mocktails options available. Take your pick of a Virgin Classic Mojito (RM9), Virgin Blueberry/Watermelon Mojito (RM12), or Virgin Sangria (RM14) – these are also organic, cruelty-free, and dairy-free. Positive vibes are also free.
