Fiesta launches Mi Goreng-flavored condom

There’s no denying how much Indonesians love Indomie’s Mi Goreng – from fine art to Animal Crossing items and even to full-face makeup, the instant noodle brand has made its way into our pop culture.

So Indonesian condom brand Fiesta is looking to leverage upon the fact by launching a Mi Goreng-flavored condom guaranteed to spice up your love life.

It’s part of the brand’s new line of unusual flavors

The condom brand took to Instagram on Sunday, 28th March 2021 to share a promotional image of the new variant, with the text saying, “Feel the sensation of making love with authentic Indonesian flavors.”

Fiesta’s Mi Goreng variant is part of the brand’s new line of unusual flavors, alongside Kopi Kekinian, or iced coffee with brown sugar, and Spicy Cimol, or fried tapioca balls.

The brand does not shy away from including witty captions in the promotional images, claiming that the Kopi Kekinian variant will “make you want more and more” while the Spicy Cimol one will “make your relationship more fiery”.

It’s still unclear if these condoms and packaging designs are real or not

Understandably, there are doubts as to whether these new variants are real or part of a prank, considering that April Fools’ Day is just around the corner.

According to Fiesta, the three variants can be purchased on online marketplaces such as Shopee and Tokopedia, but at the time of writing, there has been no evidence of the condoms being sold online.

Still, it wouldn’t be too surprising if the new variants are real – the brand does have a durian-flavored condom, after all, and nothing seems to be off-limits for them.
