Once it’s safe to travel internationally, you can take a 40-minute ride to Singapore and enjoy a day trip there.

If you feel like doing a little sightseeing in Batam, you can start with the Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall. It only takes 15 minutes to get there by car, and you can also have a look around the district.
To get a glimpse of Batam’s culture, visit the Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya Monastery. It’s the largest Buddhist temple on the island, and it’s only located approximately 9KM from the hotel.

Don’t forget to stop by Barelang Bridge, one of Batam’s most popular landmarks, and take tons of photos or take a late afternoon stroll in the area to see the bridge from different angles.
The bridge is located roughly 30KM from the hotel and it’ll take about 50 minutes to get there by car.
