Andaz Resort opens in Bali


Bali is undoubtedly high on our list of places to visit once it’s safe to explore the country again, and when the times for you to choose a place to stay on the Island of the Gods, Andaz Bali is ready to welcome you to its traditional village-themed luxurious resort with open arms.

Officially launched on Friday, 9th April 2021 by Hyatt Hotels, the resort marks the Andaz brand’s entry into Indonesia and is located in Sanur – best known for its scenic beaches and stunning sunrise views, approximately 22 minutes’ drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Aside from luxurious villas and suites with private gardens and swimming pools, Andaz Bali also offers a spacious communal co-working space where guests can host various events and mingle with locals while enjoying the island’s famous sunlight and tropical air.

The first Andaz resort in Asia, Andaz Bali aims to present an authentic Balinese feel inspired by traditional villages, and it was built using locally sourced materials such as red bricks, andesite stone, and woven bamboo.

Elements in the resort’s design and furniture are designed to highlight Indonesia’s rich culture, including batik-themed bed headboards and a lobby modeled after ancient Balinese royal palaces.

The resort boasts 149 rooms, including 22 villas


Andaz Bali has 127 rooms and suites as well as 18 Garden Villas and 4 Beach Villas arranged in a series of courtyards, and each room has a private balcony overlooking the garden, beach or lagoon.

Each of the Garden Villas (Rp. 5,191,520, ~USD354.86 per night) features a private pool with sunbeds and a private garden where you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the resort’s Dukuh village area while staying connected to the rest of the area.

For those who prefer to stay closer to the ocean, the Beach Villas (Rp. 13,454,080, ~USD919.35 per night) provide private access to the adjacent beach, in-villa check-in, and a lush green terrace where you can host gatherings and barbecues.

Those looking for more affordable options can book a King Room or a Twin Room (Rp. 2,558,500, ~USD174.85) with a soothing garden view, which you can enjoy even from the bathroom. For a little bit more, you can opt for an Ocean View Room (Rp. 2,924,000, ~USD199.82), located on the second floor and overlooking the Indian Ocean.


Guests can share creative ideas and mingle with locals at the Village Square

The heart of Andaz Bali lies in its Village Square, designed as four interconnected studios where guests can host creative gatherings and events.
