Binge on Barrels of Beer

Starker is a restaurant that is all about their house beer. They sell their beers by the barrel (2L or 5L), because beer towers are too mainstream. Ignore the pints on the menu, you can’t come to Starker for just one pint of beer, unless you’re alone, or getting one pint of each of their 5 flavours.

Aromatic reminds me of Kronenberg, but sweeter and more refreshing. Dunkel can be controversial, it is mild for a black beer, which could be a good or bad depending on who you ask. Their lager usually pleases everybody, there will be no quarrel over the larger, except when you’re running out of it. Lychee and Charcoal are decent, but are too fancy for my taste.

Food wise, their snacks are pricey and unimpressive. Their calamari is made using a very nice homemade batter though, and goes will with the Larger.
