Good pastries for teatime
Came here for a tea break and I really liked what I saw. The place was visually appealing; you can call it a quaint little cafe.
As it was my first visit, I didn't know what to order but I was saved by their friendly service staff who recommended the most popular picks, which was great. There were also samples for customers to try, and I mean huge chunks of samples, so service is really good.
I tried their beef pie and it was good! I absolutely loved their pastries because of the chewy texture (which I rarely find in other cafes). But their molten lava cake was a little disappointing. You can find better ones elsewhere for sure. I didn't have tea but many other customers ordered a pot of tea, so I'm guessing that their tea must be pretty good.
I'm someone who values ambiance, so I didn't really like that it was pretty crowded and noisy at that time, but hey, it's tea time so I can't blame anyone.
