Don't ever mind coming back, even though they shifted further from me, to Ang Mo Kio!
I often go to Bliss for a late night family gathering. There used to be an outlet at Punggol Park, which is very convenient for me to drop by, but it eventually relocated to Cheng San CC, which is just a stone's throw away from Ang Mo Kio MRT station.
To me, the goods of Bliss would not be the main course, but the appetizers, snacks, and drinks! Yes, they have pretty good steak there, but I tend to give their meat and seafood dishes a miss, and would rather order an appetizer of filling portions and a nice drink to top off the meal. No kidding!
My regular order is the banger and mash, because I simply love the mashed potato at Bliss. The sausage, for which you are given a choice of bratwurst or jumbo chicken, is huge and compliments the generous serving of mashed potato. For an appetizer, I'd say that I need not eat anything else after I finish this because it is pretty much filling for me. Love this dish!
I am not saying to give their main course items a miss. Yes, if you want a real main course for your meal, then go ahead and order their chicken or fish. I highly recommend the steak. It is juicy and tender. However, I really didn't like their gratin chicken (from another visit) though. Unlike the steak, it was dry, and they could've been more generous with the cheese! Drinks are also good. Try something that you don't see at every restaurant, such as their Fruity Italian Sodas!
For a nice night out or gathering with a group of friends or family members, Bliss is the place to settle for!
