Organic food connoisseur's paradise...

I made quite an impression on the staff of The Glow Juice Bar by being the first (and probably only) customer to pop an Alka Seltzer into a glass of freshly squeezed organic remedy for a massive hangover. The combination of the effervescent pill and the juice created a flurry of white foam which bubbled out of the glass, overflowed down the sides of the table and onto the floor. Bear in mind, The Glow Juice Bar is patronized by individuals decked out in a la mode mish mesh of effortless italian-cum-parisian chic; in a less than ten-tabled cafe with the silent charm of a private kitchen. Thus, after the "destruction" occurred, I wanted to literally bury my head in the concrete brushed flooring. I guess that's how the staff till this day remembers my name and my favourite glass of personalized concoction - apple, orange, lemon and celery juice laced with the sharp zing of fresh ginger.

The staple must-haves are: (1) The juiciest Tuna Burger I have ever sunk my "ivories" into - the sweetest and freshest chunks of tuna still visible in a burger ground in a probable lab-studied perfection. Sun-flower and pumpkin seed buns so soft, you'd think they just might congeal with the objet d'art in between them. (2) Grilled Alaskan Black Cod kebabs infused in tandoori spices that seemingly penetrate the heavenly folds of white flesh. The dollop of fresh tangy yoghurt completes this oeuvre. (3) Barramundi in Asam Pedas is a strangely beautiful dish that allows you to savour the gorgeous freshness of the sea amidst waves of sourish-spiciness. An absolute classy party in the mouth.

**Crispy, thin slices of sweet potato and taro chips together with peppery arugula and crunchy purple and green butter lettuce leaves are served with most dishes on the side.

Finally, to tame the fervently curious minds; are rows upon rows of magazines. Encapsulating genres from indie literary fare to haute couture, even Anna Wintour would be pleased.
