Great beef pho

I have been to Pho Hoa twice and I've always enjoyed its rich beef broth and thinly sliced beef. The pho is also reasonably priced and great for a casual family dinner.

When I arrived on a saturday evening, the restaurant was quite packed but not unbearably so. We got a place quite easily and our food also arrived promptly.

I found the broth flavourful and satisfying - the bowl was very big and filling. The beef slices were also tender and had sufficient bite.

Average and pricey.

I have only been to Pho Hoa once, but it was an average dining experience. I was served a rather large bowl of beef noodles. The soup was tasty enough, but the beef balls were rather stale. The beef slices were tender and went well with the noodles. There was an abundant portion of noodles, too much for my liking. It was a little too pricey, despite the large bowl of noodles. It was about $15 if I can remember correctly, for a bowl. I'm pretty sure I can find better beef noodles at a much lower price, so I don't think that it is worth it. I'm apprehensive about deciding if I should visit the restaurant again.
