The Trung Nguyen group serves Vietnamese style coffee, with an individual metal filter device fitted over each cup , with evaporated milk at the bottom. The coffee is smooth with a rich, chocolate-like aroma, which is similar to the costly civet cat coffee.

Not authentic, but alright for a try.
I've had the fortune of traveling to Vietnam and have sampled their cuisine, and I love their drip coffee especially, I rate it one of the strongest I've ever had.
So I had high expectations of Trung Nguyen when I went there a couple of months back. Basically, disappointing. The coffee is definitely watered down and lacks flavour. It's half as good as what I'd had in Hanoi! the aroma was the same, though, a rich and sweet aroma, but definitely lower grade of coffee beans were used.
Probably would be an experience for first-timers, I wouldn't recommend it for purveyors of authentic Vietnamese coffee, though.
