Must visit shop in Thomson Plaza
Thomson Plaza is not a very interesting shopping centre and only this shop made this shopping centre a little bit more interesting. Whenever I was in Thomson Plaza, I would visit this shop to see what new displays they had set up.
Lego is a very creative toy and the shop was able to set up the displays to tell some interesting stories. It is like a scaled down Legoland with smaller sets of Lego. It is very expensive to own Lego sets so I am contented just to see the displays. Even if I can afford the sets, I will not have any place in my house to display them so it is better for me to just see them from the shops.
Lego, Lego, everywhere.
My little brother is a HUGE Lego fan. Every Christmas, the first thing he writes down on his wishlist is Lego toys, I'm not exaggerating. He has more Lego toys than anyone I know.
Secret Chamber is my little brother's paradise. I took him here once and he spent at least 45 minutes in the shop looking at the different Lego sets. My brother hates shopping, but here he could spend hours.
The range at Secret Chamber is marvelous. It has more variety for Lego sets than any other major toy shop. So it has become our regular go-to when we go Christmas shopping for my brother.
Shop for LEGO toys!
The toy store has a mystical feeling to it. Secret Chamber features beautifully displayed LEGO toys at racks, display cabinets and even ceilings! They have a LEGO made construction crane and plane. Did I mention that there’s also a statue of liberty? No doubt about that, LEGO fanatics should not miss this store. The toy shop may be small in size, but they have a wide LEGO collection. There’s Harry Potter, little figurines and cars. I’m not sure whether my eyes were playing a trick on me, but I could have sworn I saw a LEGO made Lamborghini. It could’ve been a Ferrari or some other type of racing cars. And instead of common looking lights, Secret Chamber swapped them with fake fire lamps. If this is their plan to attract kiddies, well, they certainly did.
Although single handled by one store assistant, service was great. He was helpful and very patient. I guess you have to have these certain characteristics if you want to work at a toy shop. Just a side note, things can get rather chaotic on weekends, especially Sundays. Don’t be surprised if you have to queue for some time.
