Lok Lok is an extremely popular Malaysian street food consisting of various meats, vegetables and seafood on skewer sticks, and is kind of like steamboat. You dip the food into the soup base, and then consume it with satay sauce. Thanks to Malaysian Local Delights, we no longer have to drive across the causeway to enjoy this. YAYYY!
Priced at $24.80 nett, you get to enjoy unlimited food including prawns, abalone, beef, all kinds of meatball, vegetables, tofu products, noodles and more! It includes drinks and desserts as well so it's pretty worth it. You also get to choose 2 soup base and my boyfriend and I had Tom Yum and Satay Sauce. The satay sauce is a definite MUST-TRY it goes so good with everything! Other than that, it isn't very different from the typical steamboats. I also had a lot of meat and prawns to maximize my money because I am a typical Singaporean.
Anyway I conquered 69 sticks in total and my boyfriend had an insane 130 sticks!!!!!
What I liked best is that it is very similar to what I had in JB so bonus points for its authenticity! So go for it, if you wanna have a taste of Malaysia, or if you wanna try breaking my boyfriend's personal record.
