Better than Bengawan.
Well why better? I thought Bengawan has the best kuehs/ Bengawan is the most proficient at making kuehs? You might ask.
Maybe because bengawan is popular for their kuehs, AND their meagre portions coupled with high prices, i think this already doesn't put bengawan in a good stead. Chinta Manis, by far sells the best kuih dadar in my opinion.
At $1.10 per pop, it's size is bigger than B's version. Both skins are different in texture, C's is much smoother and softer than that of B's. And the skin plays a great part in the taste of a piece of the kuih, we can't merely judge the filling alone. I've eaten many versions of this green nugget so far, and can safely say this is my favourite.
I was initially sceptical to get one at first, but seeing that there was a promotion, i cast all cares and fears aside and got by go to place for kuihs.
