Century Square Hot
A unique ladies-biased mall, Century Square offers a bold approach in creating an inspiring shopping environment devoted to the needs and wants of the woman of today. Its 200,000 square feet covers 6 retail floors or 130 shops with 2 floors of basement parking. "Exclusively Hers" on Level 2 offers a comprehensive range of ladies’ fashion apparel, wellness and beauty services. A special ladies-only restroom pampers the women shoppers with luxurious make-up bar counters and lounge seating. Adjoining the restroom are attractively furnished nursing rooms for the convenience of mothers. Special family services such as priority parking for mothers with young children and retail promotions for ladies are only some of the innovative and thoughtful ways in which the mall appeals to its target shoppers. Century Square is also a forerunner of green measures in mall management. In 2007, the mall was the first in Singapore to carry out recycling of food waste on a mall wide basis. The mall also uses Newater for the irrigation of landscaped areas as part of its green efforts. With unique offerings from anchor tenants such as BHG Department Store, Century Cineplex, Best Denki, Fairprice Finest, two food courts (including a halal food court) and an exciting range of fashion boutiques, wellness spas, beauty services and dining outlets, Century Square aims to pamper the woman of today.

Nothing much to look forward to in this mall
I don't fancy coming to this shopping mall compared to the other two in Tampines area. The moment I visited Century Square, I didn't stay in there for more than 15 minutes. Although there are plenty of shops, I just feel that the Century Square is not happening and it just makes me feel moodless shopping in there.
The only things that I would do in there would be for dining purposes and to shop at the Fairprice Finest. There are actually plenty of food outlets and restaurants which is a good thing.
Besides that, on some occasion, especially during Great Singapore Sale, there are many sales going on in the mall. During weekends and public holidays, Century Square would still be busy and crowded with families shoppers.
If you have to go shopping in this mall, It's better to go during weekdays.
I would not really recommend this mall because based on my opinion, the mall lacks of vibrancy and the fun
A mall which pampers ladies
Century Square is just beside Tampines Mall and I always cannot resist walking through this two malls after school. Century Square is a mall built for ladies, and offers mostly apparels, accessories, shoes and bags for women.
At the top most level, there is a Shaw Cineplex which I like to go to as there are always few people so there are always plenty of seats to choose from as compared to the neighbouring Golden Village at Tampines Mall. Also, the prices are lower and the seats are softer and more comfortable.
At the second or third level, there is a space where there are small shops selling ladies accessories and clothes. I like to visit this area as some of the shops are always changing and I can find something new every time. The toilet there is also super big for ladies, which mirrors and sofas for us to rest after shopping or redo our make up.
I like the first level the most as there are two shops selling cheap apparels which are always updating. These two shops are opposite each other and offer different styles so they do not really steal each other’s customers. There is also a shop which offers accessories from hair accessories to earrings to small pouches. I like to visit this shop as it is cosy and has so many accessories to try on.
Dull, bland, borrrring
I live a stone’s throw away from the central of Tampines where the malls and lively hubbub is at. When I’m really bored, I seek pleasure in heading to Tampines One and Tampines Mall… and Century Square – that is, if I’m terribly bored and desperate!
There is nothing for me to do there besides having meals with my family simply out of convenience when we’re craving for sushi (Sakae at Century’s Square’s B1). Shopping is drabbbbb at Century Square. Surely the clothes and stuff you get are cheap but things bought there really compromise on their quality – all shops, except one (can’t remember its name) which sells branded skateboard shoes and Dickies bag but products sold there are definitely pricier.
Probably the most exciting and attractive place at Century Square would be the highest floor where the cinema and arcades are located at. However, the ambience of the mall is too dull and bland that I would not even consider watching a movie or playing at the arcade there, let alone with my friends or with my date.
However to the credit of the mall, a plus point would be the toilet at the 2nd level which really caters to needs of women with a couch in the toilet and many mirrors (!!!) to facilitate in applying our makeup. Truth to be told, I sometimes would make the trip just for the toilet to apply my makeup in comfort and ease.
Overall, nah. Century Square is really a miss to me. It simply doesn’t cater to my needs at all.
Great place for shopping at a good price
Century Square may not be as big as other malls located in Tampines, it can let you shop for hours as many sales can be seen everywhere. If you are a good shopper, you will get the items you want at the price you want. This means you can bargain at the atrium stalls and snatch a good price for all your goodies! There is also a shop near CoffeeBean that sells affordable apparels with good quality and nice materials. The designs are not bad either, make it looks like an expensive dress yet below $20.
I love to get Popeyes after shopping at CS. The fried chicken replenish the protein I needed for my next shopping days and it can fill my stomach easily as I can always redeem a piece of chicken bonafide after completing Popeye's online survey. Worth it! If you dislike fast food, head to basement for a decent meal. Japanese food always attract my attention but there should be other cuisine you may like.
Great Place for couples
Although Tampines already has two other malls, Century Square still does not lose out in its attractiveness. This is most probably primarily because I am a girl! As Century Square caters especially to women, it is a great place for me to hang out apart from the other two malls.
The best part of the whole mall for me is the TOILET. There is one particular toilet on the second floor that has a huge make up area where you can sit on a stool and touch-up your makeup in front of mirrors. Although I do not wear makeup, I was amazed by this concept and thought that it was extremely practical and appropriate!
There is also a wide range of shops that appeals to both men and women, as there are electronics, department stores as well as unisex clothing retail stores. There is even a cute bookstore selling stationery that would be great for gifts! Thus this mall, although catering mainly to women, is also a great place for couples to hang out, although the guy might have to wait a while for the lady while she is in the toilet with the makeup area!
Overall Century Square to me is about as self-sufficient as Tampines Mall and Tampines1 and does not lose out to them.
Less packed than the other two malls
There are 3 shopping malls in Tampines namely Tampines Mall, Tampines One and Century Square. Although there really isn't a need to have three different malls in Tampines alone, these malls are very different in terms of what they have to offer. Although generally it is very crowded in Tampines, Century Square is the least crowded mall which makes shopping a lot easier to do.
There is the BHG departmental store which offers things like ladies handbags, cosmetics, bedsheets, men's wear and even luggage. You can see it as a one-stop destination for your family and your home. What is different about this mall, personally, is that the shops that are around tend to be more heartland than upscale. For instance, you don't get your Mango shops here or Esprit (which you can find in Tampines Mall and Tampines One respectively) but there are more small shops that sell clothes that will mostly appeal to the young ones. So, if you are on a tight-budget but still are looking for dresses, shoes or jeans that look good, this is the mall for you.
If you are looking for food, there is the normal fare like Popeyes and Food Junction food court. At the basement, there are a few Japanese restaurants like Sakae Suhi and Shin-Sapporo Ramen. There is a wide variety of Chinese, Japanese and Western restaurants here but very few Halal eating places. There used to be a Halal foodcourt here but it has been renovated for other eating establishments to take over. So, if you are looking for Halal food, it could be a little problem in this shopping mall. But, there are plenty other choices in the other malls and around the vicinity.
A Ladies' Mall of Choice
Century Square is one of the 3 shopping malls located strategically just a walk away from the MRT station. This mall is known to be a friendly mall to the muslims and espcially the Ladies. The mall has several facilities and several considerate features that would give shoppers a great shopping experience, as they look into the tiny details and ensure that u are able to relax and enjoy.
In the mall, i would firstly commend on the variety of shops the mall has. For entertainment, on the top level, we have the Cathy cinema and an arcade. For electronics, we have the Nokia shop and Best Denki to satify the appetitde of the gadget lovers. For food, we have 2 food court, one of which is fully halal, and many other restaurants at the basement. In addition, we have many fashion and acerssories shops such as Bata, BHG, Aries and more. To meet your needs to purchase daily necessities or groceries, we have Guardian and NTUC Finest. Last but not least, for those who have aching feet, there are couches available on the second level, just in front of the mall for you to rest on. At a glance, this mall does have everything and is indeed a shopping paradise.
Moreover, for the ladies, this mall is perfect for you. The Ladies washrooms are just splendid as it caters to your every need. The toliets are always clean and there are full length mirrors and small mirros, as well as a make-up table with bar stools for you to apply ur make up with ease. It gets even better when the toliet is constantly smelling great with a light scent of fragrance, and it has a couch in the toliet for you to rest your aching feet. Isn't it great?!
This is indeed a ladies mall of choice!
Not exactly family-friendly, good for shopping.
Century Square is located just next to Tampines MRT station, hence a very strategic location. It is always and forever crowded, even on weekdays. Well, as a female, I obviously am a fan of the mall. It has many retail outlets specially catered to women, ranging from stores that provide manicure/pedicure services, slimming services and of course, fashion outlets. They have several fashion outlets on the first level (Heaven and Muacks) which I frequent very often, as they sell very fashionable and trendy clothing at very very cheap prices!
If you are driving, I would recommend if you come into the carpark only AFTER 5pm in the evening, as you only have to pay a one-time fee of $2, regardless of how long you stay. If you come in before the allocated time of 5pm, the fees are pretty expensive, say about 60cents per half hour on weekends.
Century Square has special events on the first floor almost every other day, ranging from a sale to an advertising gig for its outlets.
This mall is good for both tourists and heartlanders, as it has a wide spectrum of fashion outlets, specialized services stores and many entertainment facilities. However, if you are a parent looking to being your young children on a fun outing, this is not the place to go, especially on weekends. The mall will be packed to the brim, so it would be quite an arduous task to keep an eye on your children amongst the sea of people.
