Previously Turf City Shopping Mall, The Grandstand is located a short walk away from the main Bukit Timah Road, opposite Sixth Avenue Centre. Both the North and South Grandstand offer a variety of places within 'clusters' - retail and service, food & beverages, kids' activities, sports & fitness - to choose from, and the mall even boasts a Car Mall for automobile dealers and enthusiasts. Shuttle bus services available from bus-stops at Newton, Botanic Gardens, and Toa Payoh MRT Stations; details on website.

A Mall With A Different Charm
The Grandstand is a shopping mall slightly off the beaten track. Although it’s out of the way for most, The Grandstand possesses a different, rustic charm that continues to attract me, and many people there.
The management has also made a concerted effort to entice crowds to their mall by providing frequent shuttle buses to several locations. However, the shuttle bus I took left a few minutes before the specified time, so be sure to go early!
The tenants at the Grandstand are mostly F&B establishments and there aren’t many shops peddling clothes, beauty products and whatnot, so don’t go there expecting to come home with anything but fresh groceries and a tummy full of good food.
If you're looking for a good dining place, you must come to The Grandstand. After the renovation works, this place now house several good restaurants and eateries - Omakase Burger, Modern Asian Diner and Pasar Bella are all located here.
My sister and I love paying The Grandstand a visit, as it is one of those rare places in Singapore that have so much good food, but no queues at all. As this place is not so well known yet, you can dine in a peaceful and quiet environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the city area.
Our tradition is to have a long lunch at VeganBurg and then pop into the next store for some gelato. Transport here is quite convenient as well; we always take the frequent bus shuttle service from Botanic Gardens MRT. Definitely worth a visit!
