Cheap and accessible

Honestly, I've been to so many polyclinics to take mc for school whenever I feel sick. The one I frequent the most however is the one at Marine Parade, not only because it's the nearest to me, but because of the speed.

On weekdays, you just need to arrive at about 3.50pm(10 minutes) before their closing time, and you'll walk out of the clinic before 4.30pm. It's actually really fast, considering you have to take your registration ticket, wait for registration, register, wait for consultation, consult, wait for pharmacists to be done, wait for payment. With so many steps, it's actually really fast if you do go at the timing I usually go to. However, it may not always be the case. I once took 2 hours at a polyclinic and it was a horrible horrible experience.

One thing though, the instructions to what to do at the polyclinic is not really clear. It actually confused me, because I was used to private clinics. Firstly, I didn't know where to go to for registration, then I didn't know I had to drop my prescription at the prescription box. It's really confusing not only for me, because I spot many elderly people not knowing what to do either. It'll be better if the instructions were clearer.

Also, the consultation are usually 5-15 minutes, and may not be as extensive as there are a lot of patients waiting after all.
