A less discovered library
It’s really rare these days to find a library not filled with students cramming for their exams. When I found Queenstown Library, I felt like I hit jackpot. However, the only downside to Queenstown library is the inaccessibility and long walk from the main road.
I find it enjoyable to take a long walk to Queenstown library as the path is along a field and there is plenty of greenery. There is also a small café in Queenstown library, which sells killer milkshakes and fries. It’s refreshing to finally find a library not swamped with students, and there are sufficient tables and power sockets.
You can also find a decent collection of books for all age groups in the library, despite its small size. There is also an area designated specially for kids. Queenstown library is my frequent hangout when I’m looking for a quiet place away from home.
