I bought my second car here
My second car is an Altis. Toyota was the number one car brand in Singapore for many years until recent years. They were so popular that when you went to their showroom on weekends, they did not have enough sales people to serve you. You could look around on your own and until you were very sure,then you try to get the attention of a sales person.
I was lucky on my visit there that I was able to get a very enthusiastic salesman. He was initially with another customer but I thought he can feel that I was a serious buyer and he came over to serve me. The deal was completed very fast and over the few days before the delivery of my new car, he was constantly in touch with us to update us on the status of paperwork and so on and so forth.
Another impressive thing about Borneo Motors is their after sales service. All cars come with free three years service and for the first three years I used Borneo Motors for my servicing. They provided a web site to make appointment for servicing. The car will be cleaned after servicing, this includes the interior and exterior. They tried to make the car looked as good as possible.
If Lexus and Toyota service centre is not in the same place then the experience will be perfect. Currently, you can tell just by the waiting area of the service centre that which brand is more expensive.

My first car was bought at Borneo Motors in late 2009, just before the COE shot up. Hubbs and me had wandered from Kah Motors to their car showroom during one of our lazy weekend. Their showroom was really packed due to an F1 ticket giveaway promotion, plus some really friendly staff who were hovering around some potential customers that were running their hands along the spanking new cars in the showroom.
A salesman quickly zoomed in on us and asked if we would like any bottled water. We didn't accept his kind intentions and he took the opportunity to talk to us in detail about my current car model. Being an absolute seasoned salesperson, he pushed all our right buttons. He ushered us to sit in the car and have a feel of what it's like, urged us to run our hands along the new dashboard, press the buttons on the doors and to take a deep breath to smell the NEW LEATHER. That was when we got HOOKED. Signing the purchase order was over in a blink of an eye!
Servicing has always been a breeze. You can book the servicing schedule online and just turn up on time to hand in your car keys. They'll do the rest for you while you sit in their lounge to wait for your car. However, they could shave their servicing prices down a tad bit, though. It's quite pricey when you can get the same service done at workshops outside. Well, I suppose what you pay for is what you get!
