Lim Kay Siu is the saving grace of this movie

Honestly the story of Singapore's soccer team here is one that is proud part of our sporting history. LKS's portrayal of Uncle Choo is full of passion though from anecdotal evidence, the real Uncle Choo swore like a sailor when he had too. That would make this movie have an R rating I suppose.

LKS was perhaps the only actor worth of note. The others were a pain to watch. The reenactments of the soccer matches were a little painful to watch. We could see how small the budget of the movie was. I think the soccer match in Escape to Victory was way better.

I'd give a score of 2.5 but that is only for Lim Kay Siu's efforts to lift the movie.
