Exceeds expectations!

Each-a-Cup looks rather shoddy compared to its competitors like Koi and Gong Cha, but serve up good drinks!

The first drink I tried was Peach Sunrise with Yogurt Pop that was recommended by my friend. It is a peach flavored ice blended drink with a surprise that my friend told me to watch out for; the yogurt pop! As its name suggests, it literally pops in your mouth. They are like mini bubbles that burst open, which really makes it an exciting drink! Do note that the yogurt pops are rather sweet so I would like to take 20% sugar level option. Another friend of mine dislikes the yogurt pops as they are too sweet for her! For me, I simply love how it explodes in your mouth!

Another drink I really enjoyed was the Strawberry Yogurt Drink with Yogurt Pop. The taste is so close to strawberry yogurt and I just love it! My sister and I shared the drink without much expectation for it and we ended up getting another cup because we did not have enough of it. It is such a refreshing change from the usual bubble milk teas I have whenever I need to satisfy my craving for beverage.

For new customers, the multiple choices on the menu may look really overwhelming! Here are some points to note:

Able to choose any flavor listed under yogurt, eg. Peach and it will be a peach yogurt drink
Sunrise = ice blended
Option to choose sugar level

Rather Ordinary

Each-a-Cup was a childhood favourite of mine back in the days when bubble tea was rising in popularity. Located opposite my primary school, it was the cheapest stall as most were selling at $1.50 or $1.80 while Each-a-Cup was only going for $1!

Now the prices have risen beyond my imagination, and I rarely frequent it anymore. But this is not because of the pricing alone. Each-a-Cup has not changed much since those days and I feel like their range is quite normal and does not compare to others like Gong Cha. Because of this, I am unwilling to pay that price when I can get a nice tasting cup for about the same price from another specialty bubble tea stall.

The waiting time can also be quite long as it is still very popular. Although most people think that you have to wait quite a bit for your bubble tea, I feel that some stalls are actually very fast in their service despite the large number of customers. The time I had Each-a-Cup’s bubble tea, I had to wait extremely long despite there only being about 3 people ahead of me and they even mixed up the orders before mine. This was at the Plaza Sing outlet.

Hence I feel that Each-a-Cup has not really advanced very much to keep up with their competitors thus I would still prefer to drink from other bubble tea stalls.

More than just your neighbourhood bubble tea shop

Each-a-cup has successfully captured the hearts of Singaporeans everywhere not only with its wide variety of drinks available but also the quality of their drinks. The tea is in a league of its own compared to other bubble tea shops as it is brewed freshly on the spot. Also its penchant of using powdered sugar as compared to the disgusting sweet sugar syrup of other bubble tea shops resulting in a much frothier and delicious texture.

What I like most is that I can rarely find Ice Blended Milo and Ice Blended Bandung that tastes as amazing as one made there. Often I have to ask for a special order just to get to drink to be ice blended. The price is slightly more expensive than normal bubble tea shops but it's oh so worth it.

The shop that made me a loyal customer

I've always like bubble tea, but ever since I tried Each-a-Cup, the other shops just doesn't seem to cut it anymore. Making your bubble tea with tea freshly brewed on the spot, it has a unique flavour that I can't find in other brands. Health conscious types would also appreciate the option to choose your sugar level, and I find that it usually tastes the best at 20%.

I like the fact that they remembered my favourite combination that I just have to show my face and they'll automatically key in my order. Their service is pretty good, with their friendly dispositions, though during peak hours it'll take a while to get your drink.

Their pricing is a tad high for me, at $2.30 for my usual Champagne Grape Red Tea with Pearls. They do have promotions from time to time though, like promotional prices for new drinks and a rainy day promotion for hot drinks.

Each-a-cup is always my choice for Milk Tea

Each-a-cup may be one of the bubble tea outlets petronised by the bubble tea lovers. However, the milk tea is not just like any other. With its freshly brewed tea, Each-a-cup never fails to bring the most fragrant and fresh milk tea to the milk tea lovers

Located island wide , the outlets are so reachable by the customers. There is more to just providing a great cup of pearly milk tea, Each-a-cup offers a wide variety of drinks such as chocolate& strawberry oreo, mocha ice blended and also special oolong green tea for those who opts for healthier choice.

With price ranging from $2- $3, one can get a refreshing and delicious cup of a drink that you close from.

Currently, with a lot of promotions going on, such as 12 -2pm promotion, Each-a-cup is at its busiest during lunch hour. So, the queue sometimes might be quite long.

Although there are a lot more options in the market, I would still recommend my friends to give Each-a-cup a try. Just like other drink stalls, customers can always customise their sugar level preference. For me personally, I opt for healthier choice and go for 20% sugar level for my drinks.

My suggestion to other customers who are going to try, to choose your sugar level wisely and opt for healthier choice. It will still taste good.

Kinda awful

I can’t say that Each-a-Cup is better or worse than other bubble tea shops because this shop has mostly snowshakes and milk teas while others, especially the new uprising ones, focus on making teas. Each-a-Cup’s Oreo Crush is among the few most popular ones and having tried it myself, I think it’s quite nice! Nicer than most of the other choices anyway. They’re not stingy with the oreos and with each gulp there was plenty of it for me to crunch. It’s not too diluted or thick.

The Strawberry Snowshake was gross. It was too sweet and tasted too artificial! It didn’t even taste anything like a proper drink. I don’t know how my friend managed to finish the entire cup.

The other common drinks are average, just like those from other bubble tea shops. The tea drinks aren’t that nice. Personally I prefer tea drinks to snowshakes or milk teas so I go to Each-a-Cup less than other bubble tea shops.

The prices are reasonable. The price range is from $2 to $2.80.

Their hotdog bread with egg is kind of weird though. The egg is cooked by microwaving! It’s the first time I’ve eaten a micro waved egg.

It's either you love or hate it.

With the rise of the bubble tea craze, I am sure Each-a-cup has their fair share of fans.
However, their recent inflation of price is off-putting. It used to be $1.90, but has been revised to $2.20 per cup. As it has been quite some time since I patronised the stall (Plaza Sing branch), I was actually shocked at the price.

I wouldn't pay $2.20 for a cup of artificial-flavored bubble tea! (I would rather go for Sweet Talk, which I am in favor of.) Granted that I like the taste of the bubble tea, such as the Champagne grape flavor, etc, I'm willing to give it up due to the price. Unless you are comparing it to other competitors such as Gong Cha or Koi, then you'll find that Each-a-cup is considered cheap.

Nonetheless, I do like the fact that Each-a-cup has straws that are individually wrapped in transparent packets. It's something that any "cleanliness freak" would appreciate. You wouldn't want to drink from a straw that contains dirt or dust in it, would you?
That explains it.

Still, there are loyal 'fans' who are willing to queue up for Each-a-cup. Well, It depends on different individual and budget. It's either you love or hate it.

refreshing drink on the go

each a cup has certainly been around a long time before the bubble tea craze started. if you do not like to queue for 15 mins for your cup of bubble tea, this is a great alternative.

i would say that if you have tried the more upmarket bubble tea's milk tea, then you might want to skip the milk tea here. it loses out at it is thinner on the tea and milk; it tends to also get even thinner as time passes and the ice melts.

what i would recommend however, is their sunrise and oreo series! i absolutely love the sunrise series as it is tangy and refreshing. the yoghurt flavour that is mixed into the drink ends off a heavy meal perfectly. my personal favourite is the peach sunrise as every mouth is filled with the strong flavour of peach.
the oreo chocolate is also great as it is flavourful and rich unlike other chocolate drinks available.

the pearls by each a cup is one of my favourites. i love it that is is chewy, yet not overly chewy like some other competitor's. when added to icy drinks, the pearls might even freeze a little to give a wonderful bite.
hot drinks are even available for the cold day. :)

stores are conveniently located especially in the working districts which would be wonderful for working adults looking to get their quick bubble tea fix.

That refreshing feeling- in each sip - in Each-a-cup

You are dead wrong- if you think Each-a-cup is just another typical bubble tea store. Amidst strong competition from its rivals, Each-a-cup holds out fine with its strong tea-concoctions that brims with quality from that first sip in your mouth.

Indeed, the fact that the drinks do not simply taste like they are just diluted syrup with pearls added bears testament to the rich savory taste that the bubble tea company offers. For some drinks- they are specifically prepared in the mixer and are a given a few good shakes to ensure that a frothy texture is created. This is definitely evident in the Rose lychee Black tea! Considering the warm and humid weather in Singapore, I would strongly recommend this drink for that refreshing thirst-quencher.

Moreover, each-a-cup is readily available for most places. For instance, for the west side stayers, the branches mainly coagulate at Clementi and Jurong areas with some branches at Holland village and Chua Chu Kang. So even for those living in Bukit Gombak/Batok neighborhoods, they can simply take the MRT for a few stops to enjoy each-a-cup as well.

The prices charged are also justifiable for their quality- so don’t worry, it’s a value for money bubble tea awaiting you!

Fresh brewed tea in every cup

I remember when each a cup started out many years ago, I did not pay much attention to it as the menu and taste offered was about the same as everybody else, nothing special. But I think they went through a revamp and new menus were created and I first tried their fresh brewed bubble tea about a year plus ago. Whoa I was impressed.

The store started this idea of having a tea bag for each cup of bubble tea instead of just scooping from a prepared flask. The result was that each cup of tea was fresh and the aroma of the tea was very nice. The pearls that they use are also tasty and chewy.

Besides that they also introduce other items like "Shan za" drink with aiyu (a red color drink) which helps to dilute oils in the tummy. This is also one of my favorites as the sourness of the drink seems to remove all the oily taste after a big meal.
