Slightly more costly than the others out there
The first thing that you might notice is that SOD Cafe's menu offerings are slightly more expensive, with most drinks being more expensive by an average of 50cents compared to similar drinks found at their competitors' outlets. Some may feel that this price difference is not worth it, since the main difference is that most of their drinks are caffeine-free, and honestly I could not tell the taste difference. But I must say that taste-wise, SOD Cafe's is not lacking and it suits my preference.
I had mine delivered for an event, as they offer free island-wide delivery with orders above $30, and the cups were packed safely into a Styrofoam box to keep it cold. I had the milk tea with pearls at 25% sugar, which is my standard choice of drink at all bubble tea outlets. The pearls were not overly chewy and the milk tea did not taste too sweet nor bland. But given that all of SOD Cafe's outlets are quite far from me, plus with its slightly higher price range and I cannot possibly order $30 worth of drinks alone, it will be sometime before I get my milk tea fix from them again.
