J.H Kim Taekwondo Institute is a school that teaches genuine taekwondo. It aims to improve the lives of many, regardless of age, by mastering the art of taekwando.
It offers a total of 5 differing courses.
'Taekwon Tots' is a course moulded for children between the age of 3 to 5 years old. The classes for this course are usually 'small' in terms of student amount. This was done with the intention of providing equivalent amount of 'individual attention' to each student.
'T-Kids' is another course dedicated to children between the age of 5 to 10. Students are presented with Taekwondo's fundamentals here. They are also educated on how to apply Taekwondo in a practical manner for self-defense.
'Teen-kwondo' is catered to teenages between the age of 11 to 16. This course enables teens to unravel and hone their forte.
'Jr Black Belts' is a course reserved solely for children who had succeeded in attaining the black belts.
The 'Adults' course is self-explainatory. Teenagers who are 14 years and beyond may be allowed to join this group of adults in their taekwondo training too. This course offers a wide range of classes within itself. This includes the class for 'sparring', 'fundamental skills', 'test preparation', 'self-defense', 'full-range techniques' and more.
Additionally, this school collaborated with Singapore Taekwondo Federation Youth Development Program to launch a 'competition programme'.
J.H Kim Taekwondo Institute can be found at Singapore and Malaysia.
